Dr. Jamie Reed,
L.Ac., DACOM, NCCAOM Diplomat

Jamie studied Chinese Medicine locally at AOMA a Graduate of Integrative Medicine. Jamie was able to learn and successfully treat a wide variety of health concerns including but not limited to: stress, anxiety, and digestive pain but found real success in treating pain and sports injuries.

Jamie has been treating sports and chronic injuries for over 10 years as an LMT. She finds the musculoskeletal system fascinating and loves working on complicated problems or injuries. More recently she has enjoyed working with patients whom have more complex internal issues such as migraines, digestive issues and much more.

Jamie’s understanding of sports and chronic injuries has came from being active in a local Crossfit box, practicing Power and Olympic lifting, training for local races, and engaging in mobility and stretching recovery. It is through an active lifestyle that she found a passion for mobility, which has transferred into great results for her patients.

Her Bachelor’s of Science for Nutrition and Food Science was obtained from California State University of Northrigde. At CSUN, Jamie was able to learn the importance of proper a healthy diet for everyone ranging from athletes to the elderly. She frequently suggests food prescriptions as first step to health.

Today Jamie currently practices Chinese Medicine and in Austin. She spends her free time with weight lifting, gardening, camping and enjoying nature,
